Double Kettlebell Exercises for “Buns of Steel”

--

There was a very popular video series back in the 90s called “Buns of Steel” which featured a bunch of leg and butt exercises targeting every woman’s “problem areas” — here butt and the back of her legs.

I’m not sure how well it worked, but I know it sold a lot of copies just on the inferred promise of the title alone!

Here’s something that will work to literally give you a toned, shapely, firm, dare I say it — even “perky” backside that you crave — kettlebell workouts.

Kettlebells are all the rage right now. Everyone from actresses such as Katherine Heigel to grandmothers are reaping its benefits.

The reason they work is simple — kettlebell exercises such as the Swing, the Snatch, and the Clean all work your hips, butt, and back of your legs like no other exercise!

I’ll skip the boring physiology lecture, but what you should know is your backside responds to heavy weights and quick, explosive movements, just like the exercises you’ll be using in your new kettlebell workouts.

Don’t believe me?

Ever seen a female sprinter or jumper with a soft, flabby, saggy butt? Nope. Now how about those long distance runners? That’s all they have — saggy, limp butts.

And here’s an extra hidden benefit of kettlebell workouts beyond getting your youthful shape back — they also focus on strengthening and flattening your abs — helping you get rid of that little “pooch” — the one that runs from your belly-button on down.

And of course, the final, and arguably best benefit of all, is that kettlebell workouts help you burn off all that unwanted body fat. These workouts are very demanding and literally have the ability to blowtorch unwanted fat right off your body!

So when considering what to do to get back into the shape you once had, or to achieve a shape you’ve always wanted and to get your own “Buns of Steel” — make sure you’re strategy includes kettlebell workouts.
